On a packed Friday night at The Asylum, four bands delivered a relentless evening of deathcore, slam, and hardcore brutality. Headlined by Bodysnatcher with support from Ingested, Psycho Frame, and Big Ass Truck, the show was a night defined by crushing breakdowns, violent pits, and a crowd that never seemed to run out of energy.
Big Ass Truck
Opening the evening were hardcore newcomers Big Ass Truck, who wasted no time in setting the tone for the night. Their set was short, loud, and unapologetically chaotic — exactly what an opening band should be.
Tracks like Beef and From the Grave got the crowd moving early, but it was the tongue-in-cheek aggression of BIG ASS BEER and Big Ass Dog that really ignited the pit. By the time they closed with Big Ass Truck, the floor had already descended into full hardcore chaos.
Despite their humorous branding, the band’s sound hit hard — a mix of groove-heavy riffs and raw hardcore energy that made them a perfect opener for the brutality that followed.

Psycho-Frame
Next up were Psycho-Frame, bringing a much darker and more technical sound to the stage. Their blend of chaotic deathcore and metallic hardcore felt relentless, with jagged riffs and punishing breakdowns hitting one after another with the twin vocals vocalists Michael Sugars and Colter Adams smashing with their tag team approach.
Opening with STILL WATER SALVATION, the band immediately locked the crowd into their aggressive rhythm. Songs like “THE PORTAL” and BLUEPRINTS FOR IDOL GENOCIDE showcased their ability to shift between crushing groove and dissonant chaos.
The highlight of their set came with THE PLOT TO NUKE THE MIDWEST, which triggered one of the biggest pits of the night so far. Closing track 24 HOURS LEFT ended their performance on a blistering high, leaving the crowd fully warmed up for the heavier hitters to come.

Opening with “Nefarious Tongues”, the band wasted no time unleashing waves of blast beats and monstrous riffs. “Altar of Flesh” and “Merciless Reflection” kept the momentum going, with the crowd responding to every breakdown with violent enthusiasm.
One of the standout moments came during “Better Off Dead”, where the crowd erupted into one of the largest pits of the night. The band closed their set with “Invidious”, leaving the room buzzing and setting the stage perfectly for the headliners.

Bodysnatcher
Headliners Bodysnatcher took the stage to deafening cheers and immediately proved why they’ve become one of the most respected names in modern deathcore.
Opening with “The Maker”, the band set the tone for a brutally heavy set. “Wired for Destruction” and “Behind the Crowd” kept the momentum building, while “Black of My Eyes” delivered one of the most intense crowd reactions of the night.
The middle section of the set leaned heavily into fan favourites like “Dead Rabbit” and “Infested”, both of which sent the pit into absolute chaos. The crushing “Blade Between the Teeth” and “Take Me To Hell” showcased the band’s knack for combining groove with pure brutality.
Later in the set, “Violent Obsession”, “Murder8”, and “Twelve/Seventeen” continued the relentless assault. By the time “Open Wounds” hit, the crowd was fully locked in.
Closing with “King of the Rats”, the band delivered a final crushing breakdown that felt like the perfect ending to a night defined by unfiltered aggression.

With relentless energy from both the bands and the crowd, the night felt less like a concert and more like a full-scale sonic assault.
For fans of modern heavy music, this was a lineup that delivered exactly what it promised: pure brutality from start to finish.
