First things first…. Take a look at this and tell me- Would you like to go and witness what we did in 2024?
Starting in 2018 Good Things Festival is an Australian alternative music festival held annually in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane over one weekend each December. Bringing a new era for Australian alternative music fans, ushered in by an unstoppable army of some of the heaviest, and most alternative bands the universe had on offer.
Opening on Friday 5 December at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, the Good Things Festival party will then head to its new Sydney stomping ground at Sydney Showground on Saturday 6 December, before closing out on Sunday 7 December at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
For Sydney, 2025 will see the Good Things experience levelled up across the board, with the Sydney Showground venue boasting a bigger capacity, more shelter and existing facilities, and is a much more accessible-friendly venue for patrons. The venue will also mean better transport options and integrated transport, making your journey to and from Good Things Festival way easier so you can focus on the important things: the bands, the vibes and all the good things that come with this annual extravaganza.
GOOD THINGS FESTIVAL WELCOMES MAPLE’S PET DINOSAUR
TO IT’S HUGE 2025 LINE-UP

After a wild 2024 appearance, the stunt crew on STAGE 666 will unveil their “Oozing Future Freakshow” for this year’s Good Thing Festival, with a shocking slate of pole dancers, live bands, and competitions.
Billed as the “world’s most modified marvel,” gaze upon the teflon horns and tattooed scales of Austin’s Lizardman as he pulls off the touted ‘Cranial Corkscrew’! Be amazed as Brisbane’s own burlesque seductress, Jacqueline Furey, takes to the stage to breathe fire, swallow swords, and do unspeakable things with an angle grinder. There’s also the straitjacket escapades of Captain Ruin, the punk rock clown. Rock karaoke with Kill Your Pop Stars, including a tribute to the late great Ozzy Osbourne.
