    Zakk Sabbath -05/03 Birmingham O2 Academy

    It’s only been nearly 2 weeks since Zakk Wylde came off a hugely welcomed European tour by Pantera and he’s already embarking on his own tour as the Black Sabbath tribute band Zakk Sabbath. 

    With a full house in Birmingham and the crowd waiting patiently for Zakk Wylde, he storms onstage in his signature kilt, followed by Blasko,  the bassist from Black Label Society and Joey Castillo-the ex drummer from Queen of the Stone Age.

    There was shredding, heavy rifts and wild solos, none more recognisable than ‘ War Pigs ‘ which had the crowd driven wild.

    Zakk Sabbath wasn’t here to just copy the music of Black Sabbath but to show his appreciation for all tracks Sabbath and Ozzy and with the forthcoming Final Farewell show in July, it could not be more apt…
