On February 26th Bostons Legendary Dropkick Murphys kicked off their sold out “St. Patrick’s Day Tour 2025” in New York at the Paramount, Huntington, with special guests The Menzingers and Teenage Bottlerocket. The Paramount is a killer venue praised for its up close and intimate setting with great sound and acoustics. Patrons also appreciate the multiple bars and the option to have drinks delivered to certain sections while not having to miss any of the performances.
Teenage Bottlerocket took to the stage to start off the night with “Don’t Want To Go” off their 2009 album “They Came From The Shadows”. A killer set of new and classic punk songs from their archives. They brought a great amount of energy as well that kept the crowd engaged and singing along. They released their last album “Sick Sesh” in 2021 and announced that they will be dropping a new album later this year, and will be touring for that release as well.

With all the anticipation growing throughout the night the time had come for Boston’s legendary Dropkick Murhpy‘s to take the stage and that they did busting rite into “Captain Kelly’s Kitchen” and then straight to “The Boys Are Back” which had the sold out crowd completely captivated. Ken Casey was very interactive with the crowd throughout the whole set, as there was a platform extended from the stage to the crowd. Security was busy the whole night helping people exit the pit from excessive crowd surfing even in a wheelchair it was some next level shit. It was an absolutely amazing night of Celtic style punk rock. There were multiple pits throughout the floor with one style of dancing then Ken mentioned “that’s a style I’ve never seen here in the states, that’s a European thing” then stating “It’s people like you that keep us still doing this”. The energy was non-stop and the band was super tight as always.
