KISS- END OF THE ROAD TOUR- ACCOR STADIUM, SYDNEY . AUSTRALIA

Review and Photos by Mark Stevens

The curtain has been lowered for a final time in Sydney, Australia for the legendary rock band – KISS. Since KISS Hysteria took over Australian rock fans and their first tour to our shores in 1980, the hard rockers have visited our shores and are well known for their explosive live shows, blood spitting, flaming rockets and extravagant stage design.

The performance tonight was no different, and in true KISS style, it was an absolute spectacle. Kiss knows how to put on a show, let me tell you. The stage set-up was incredible, with massive screens, pyrotechnics, and a mind-blowing light show. And those costumes? Wow. They were outrageous and totally fitting for the band’s persona. It was like stepping into a whole other world. But let’s not forget about the music. Kiss sounded amazing live.

Their classic hits like “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” had the entire arena singing at the top of their lungs. The band’s musicianship was top-notch, and they had this undeniable chemistry on stage that kept us all engaged from start to finish. But what really blew me away was the connection they had with the audience. They made us feel like we were part of the show, constantly interacting with fans, throwing guitar picks into the crowd, and even bringing a lucky fan on stage. It created this incredible atmosphere of unity and excitement.

I left the concert with my ears ringing, a huge smile on my face, and memories that will last a lifetime. If you are luck enough to ever get the chance to see Kiss live, do not hesitate. It’s an experience like no other, and you’ll be singing their songs for days afterwards…

ROCKwell Unscene Magazine and Tattoo.com had the greatest of honours in covering 2 of KISS’s End of the Road shows in 2 different continents….. Their shows will be sadly missed…….
