Single Review – TAKERS LEAVERS ‘Act:1 Quiet Chaos’ Available for Download 15th May 2020

    Review by John Bear

Forming in 2016. This Southern California hard hitting band, offer a fusion of rock with post hardcore and punk influences, TAKERS LEAVERS are paving their path with powerful lyrics and impactful storylines. The name stems from the novel ‘Ishmael’ by Daniel Quinn, simplifying the concept of society human behaviour and the impact on it’s surroundings.

With a deep history of playing together in varying bands and touring, the members came together to find a creative outlet.

Influenced by the likes of ‘Circa Survive,’ Every Time I Die, and ‘Thrice’, TAKERS LEAVERS  finds inspiration from personal trials and emotions to bring the conversation of ‘Mental Health’ out from the shadows.

Following the success of their EP “Break & Bloom”  The band are due to release their upcoming single “Act 1: Quiet / Chaos” available for download 15th May 2020.

Ushered in by brutal vocals and guitar that soon give way to clean, dreamy choruses, this busy track keeps you guessing throughout, alternating between aggressive chants and softer melodies. There is some sublime bass-playing mid-way through, while the guitars cut through nicely. Infectious and intense – Well worth checking out.

We are excited to announce our upcoming single "Act 1: Quiet / Chaos" coming May 15th. Tap LEARN MORE to pre-save it to Spotify!
