Badflower and the Secret of the “Frosty Jordan”

With 2 #1 hit singles (“Ghost” and “Heroin”) off their smash hit album ‘Okay, I’m Sick’ released in February this year, Badflower has been capitalizing on their success by touring nearly non-stop in the U.S., overseas, and even on the high seas.  Since our first interview with the band in October 2018 at ‘Rock Allegiance’ in Camden, NJ, we’ve seen the band perform across the U.S. (Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, and in three different cities in California) and aboard the ‘ShipRocked 2019’ cruise.  We spoke with the band often off-camera during that time and four times we did so on camera, so what could we possibly talk about for a 5th time on camera in one year and still make it interesting?

That question was at the forefront of our minds since our last interview in May, when #MischievousMel reflected back on our first interview when the band’s tour manager brought us (and the band) much needed coffee during the interview.  That interview was also very serious, and at times, heart breaking.  A year later, the band’s fan base has grown exponentially, they’ve scored a second #1 hit, and life has changed in many ways – but how has all of that affected the band and lead singer Josh Katz?

The following interview is both fun and serious, as #MischievousMel first dresses all four members of the band in their own special aprons and reveals the secret ingredients in her coffee creation, the “Frosty Jordan” (and reason for the name).  While making Mel’s java smoothie masterpiece in back of the band’s tour bus, she talks about random things about what’s going on with the band and predictably, things go off the rails… often.  The serious part is after the taste testing and toasts when Josh, alone with #MischievousMel, talks about the impact the band’s music is having on their fans and how Josh is dealing with the issues that inspired songs such as ‘Ghost’.

Sit back, watch, enjoy, and even get a new iced coffee/smoothie recipe in this very exclusive, never done before interview aboard Badflower’s tour bus right here https://youtu.be/TZ7sikoOB1c
