    Bourbon & Beyond 2019

Bourbon & Beyond, part two of three DWP festivals held at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center, brought 91,000 fans to Louisville one year after half the 2018 event was cancelled due to flooded conditions at the former site, Champions Park. With no rain in site this year and temperatures reaching the 90’s each of the 3 days (expanded from 2 days last year), DWP and the fans were both elated to see every band perform without any interference from the weather.

Beyond the music, this is a Bourbon festival – and there’s no better place to sample authentic, master distilled bourbon and expertly crafted whiskey than Louisville, KY.

Besides sampling bourbon the traditional way, fans were able to attend cooking with bourbon classes and other special bourbon education themed events such as the one hosted by Adam Corolla (pictured below, left).

Beyond the music and the bourbon, vendors and charitable causes at all three festivals included Ronz World Guitars and Fxck Cancer…

Besides the art on display (painted onto guitars) at Ronz World, fans were also treated to large art installations throughout a section of the festival.

And lastly, of course, there was the unbelievable music lineup that included the following bands photographed by Ashley Murphy (shown in alphabetical order)…
